Pittards CEO named Fellow of the City & Guilds London Institute

In a ceremony at Dumfries House, Pittards CEO, Reg Hankey has been named Fellow of the City & Guilds London Institute. The award, which was presented by HRH The Princess Royal, President of City & Guilds, is in recognition of his embodiment of the organisation’s core values of leadership, imagination and integrity and having impacted his industry.

The gathering was also attended by HRH The Prince of Wales in his role as President of The Prince’s Foundation in order to recognise the first students to graduate from courses run by The Prince’s Foundation with accreditation from City & Guilds.

The Prince’s Foundation provides holistic solutions to challenges facing the world today. It champions a sustainable approach living and building communities, and runs a diverse programme of education and training for all ages and backgrounds. At the heart of the organisation is the heritage-led regeneration of the Dumfries House estate and its wider community, where its principles and philosophies are explored and put into practice.

The City and Guilds of London Institute was founded in 1878 by the Corporation of the City of London and 16 livery companies (the Guilds), to protect and promote the standard of technical education.
