Orders placed Monday – Friday are shipped within 48 hours, with the exception of made to order items. Orders placed over a weekend or holiday will be shipped the next working day.
Click & Collect
We offer a click & collect service for local shoppers. Add ‘COLLECT’ in the gift message section when you place your order online and it will be available next working day between 2.00-4.00pm from our Yeovil store. Please only use this service if you are passing on essential travel- for everything else we’re shipping online orders and UK delivery is free.
For most products, standard UK & Channel Islands delivery is FREE and usually takes 2-4 working days. Special delivery in the UK & Channel Islands on orders placed before noon Monday – Friday is £12 and will be delivered the next working day. Standard International Tracked delivery is Europe: £14, Rest of World (excluding China): £24, China: £30
Pittards uses the Royal Mail tracked 24/48 service for most standard deliveries and some parcels will require a signature.
The Express service is via Royal Mail Special Delivery (by 1pm the next day) and it is available on orders placed before noon weekdays. If you are using the express service on a Friday please make sure the receiving address has a Saturday delivery. Please note that the Royal Mail does not deliver on Sundays and special delivery orders placed after noon on a Friday will be despatched the next working day.
Pittards uses the International Tracked service for all international orders under 2kg. Your parcel will be delivered via standard mail in your country and usually takes around three working days to mainland Europe and 5-10 working days everywhere else. On orders over 2kg and above 90cm in length, it may be necessary to use a courier service, in which case you will be sent a tracking number.
If your delivery destination address is in Russia, we may contact you for a registered business address in compliance with Russian Customs authority regulations if the package is over 2kg.
Customs & VAT
VAT is automatically deducted from the invoice of any orders exported from the UK. As the UK has now left the European Union this now also now applies to EU countries. However please remember that you may be liable for any duties, sales tax and customs clearance charges payable on entry into your country.
Goods may be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days, they must be unused in the original packaging and accompanied by the invoice. Pittards offers free UK returns on finished product items (not inclusive of leather skins & hides) to the value of £150 and over, and for any faulty products. Please contact us if you wish to return your item and we will provide you with a returns label which you must attach to your package before sending. If the package is returned without this label, we cannot refund the return shipping cost.
Return delivery costs for items below £150 or outside of the UK will not be covered by Pittards (unless item is damaged or faulty).
Pittards cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returned goods so if you are returning the goods at your own cost, please ensure you use Recorded or Special Delivery as appropriate to the value of the goods you are returning.
Pittards makes its products in England to a high standard, to be enjoyed for many years, but if on receipt of your order you believe an item is faulty please contact us within seven days to resolve the issue.
Outstanding orders can be cancelled at any time. In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, being deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification, the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company’s appointed carrier.
Returning Goods from Outside the UK
When returning goods from outside the UK, please ensure that the original invoice and clear paperwork indicating product return accompanies the parcel as Pittards will not be liable for any inwards duty on returned product resulting from incomplete or inaccurate documentation.
